Oh i read on others blogs that Arsene was on vac with Dein Snr…..c’d be a good move trying to recruit Dein unoffcially is not a bad move seeing the current Board bungle seemingly water tight transfer moves.

Oh i hope that Real Madrid make a move for Tevez….that would free Benzema up for a move to the Emirates…only if Man City do not demand him in return…or he insists on playing for arsenal and not get his head turned by the ridiculous wages being offered at Citeh.

Our game became predictable not because of personnel, but because of tactics.
You know where theo will play, you know where nasri, arshavin, song, etc. will play. No plan B. Stifle theo on the right, bombard clichy with a fast skillful player on the left, try to win as many free kick or corners or even throw-ins close to the box, no one in Arsenal defence will know how to deal with it. Get in their faces and the become disorganised. Pack 10 men behind the ball and arsenal becomes clueless.
Why cant there be a sort of plan be. I am sure fergie must have thrown arsene off balance when he played defenders. That is what i call not being predictable.

Getting Gervinho is good, but if we use him as a wide player stuck to one wing without options, we will become predictable once again….

If the defence hadn’t leaked 4 at st james’ park, or at white hart lane or at emirates against spuds or even against liverpool or scoring an 80th minute own goal against wigan or a 90minute equaliser against sunderland. The list goes on and on. You can argue that the attack coulda finished those teams off (and that is fair enuff) but the attack did its job of scoring a goal, the defense should do the job of not allowing an equaliser and it would have been 3 point taken.
I believe that if our defense is solid, a 1 goal lead can be defended. When mourinho was at chelsea, they did’t score too much, but they didn’t allow too much in either…..

On another note, i am yet to see the Gervinho signing on arsenal.com !!!

I think it’s safe to say that we have had some problems in attack as well as some problems in defence. AW didn’t really trust MC, CV or NB to play and for that reason our game became predictable and RvP became over used. Gervinho looks like a very good acquisition – I am very excited to see him in action!

However, from a team point of view, a partner for Vermaelen at the back is very much required, and of course, a replacement at left back.

I would love to see a winger and central midfielder come in, but maybe I’m asking too much.

Gervinho looks a quality signing.
There are many times that Chamakh or Bendtner or even RvP failed to finish off a team and then we ended up drawing the game.
