Over to the comments for Match Day Live…
Follow World of Arsenal on Twitter.

Robinson, Salgado, Nelsen, Samba, Givet, El-Hadji Diouf, Jones, Pedersen, Grella, Mame Diouf, Kalinic.
Subs: Bunn, Olsson, Emerton, Dunn, Nzonzi, Hoilett, Chimbonda.
Today’s match mascott is as tall as arshavin!
Arsene: Our target is to have the ball and when we do so we can dictate the play.
Alex Song has blonde hair!!
How did we not score!!
Awesome start, our team looks up for it… let’s score early.
Alex Song looks so weird in his short, blonde hair! From a distance, I can’t tell who is Sagna or Song…!
Off the line from Cesc… Aerial bombardment…
Spurs in the third round of the carling cup… let’s see what our kids can do!
THEO THEO THEO!!!! 1-0 Arsenal
1-0 to the Arsenal – Walcott with a good finish after good link up play and pass through from Van Persie…
1-1
Can’t believe that!
Chamakh on for RvP (injured)
Van Persie gets injured on his first start of the season. It’s time for a Chamakh Attack!
Okay, it’s 1-1 – RvP injured and we’re not looking that great at all… Come on the Arsenal!!
Fabrgas doesn’t look sharp enough
HT: Blackburn 1 – 1 Arsenal: An interesting half, typical Blackburn, typical Arsenal… we need to better in the 2nd half…
HT 1-1
Ugly game, but it is at Ewood Park so probably to be expected. But we conceded an unnessary goal. Theo, Diaby, Song probably been our best players. Almunia not been that bad either so far. Koscielny probably the weakest link in the team today so far.
Just read this on BBC Sports live update:
The latest on Robin van Persie, by the way, is that his ankle – not the one he injured last year – has swollen up and it is being iced as we speak. Scan on Monday.

2-1 Arshavin
Arshavin scores… phew! 2-1, it’s been a tough one today!
Rosicky on for Fabregas
We need another goal to make sure. Gunners can always have a little slip up!
Come on Arsenal!
FT 2-1 Arsenal
FT: Blackburn 1 – 2 Arsenal… We are top of the league… I said we are top of the league…!
Great job to Gunners.
great 3 points, just wanna say after todays game maybe we all (including myself) should have a little more faith in manual almunia, i thought he done really well today with everything, no hairy moments and he wasn’t at fault for the goal. if he can play like that all season we dont need a new keeper
That’s our best start to a season in 3 years, or so I hear.
also wanna hear what that prick hansen has 2 say about theo tonight, the conceited scouse ****!
Not the tidiest win in the world, but nice to see us win away from home against tough opposition. Delighted for Theo to score again. Diaby and Song look decent together in the DM roles. And Almunia did much better today. Cesc anad RvP still need to build their fitness though.
There were a few chances to score more goals (Theo slightly off side, Wilshere, Diaby and Chamakh efforts blocked). Second half was more controlled than the first.
Thats 4 points from two tough away games so far, which isn’t bad. Still room for improvement though, but at least today was a win.

Sorry, meant to to quote Flamez, not Sam.

well if theo is gonna answer him with that everyweek let him carry on
Theo i do love u, god alan hansen and chris waddle must be eating their words, what a performance. I didnt get to watch the whole game but Diaby looked pretty rubbish at keeping the ball in the last 20 mins. I really would have liked Wilshere to score but no harm. Anyone know how van persie is, he came off early, chamakh didnt get a chance to impose himself, but did well we he attacked. Rosicky was really good though we lacked dominance once cesc leaft for a while. Koscielny did well apart from his one error, I expect Squillachi to slot in next week. A big game from the defense, Almunia did well, no mistakes. Sagna clichy played really well, Vermaelen was awesome Song looks weird but good game. Glad to see cesc playying again
Fantastic result, and deserved as well i thought. Had to answer a lot of questions today defensively and just about did enough. It wasn’t easy and we weren’t comfortable back there, but we did enough. I thought Kos really struggled in the first half and thought he might have been better taking him off. Had a mare for the goal, but to be fair, he improved in the second half. It’l have been a great premiership experience for him.
a lot of misplaced passes today so hopefully that should improve. Theo looked great. Vermealen did really well.
A lot to improve on but we had to do some ugly things today and we came through it with 3 points which is the main thing. hope RVP is ok.
Wenger saying 2weeks for RVP
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/-we-were-a-bit-too-nervous-in-the-first-half-
Maybe RVP injury blessing in disguise, u all remember what happened to him during international break, this way both him and cesc get a rest
Quote from arsene Wenger “the transfer period is now dead for us” no GK lads, its almunia and flappy, god were goona get raped by tottenham when flappy plays, i bet those cunts play a full team as well
@ Bonathan:
thats a bit harsh to koscielny i think, Diouf is a really powerful player and it was a great ball, he was really commited and did well, id much rather have him than gallas, now we got squillaci, we have 3 quality CB and Djourou and song as well so im not suprised wenger won’t make anymore signings, great game by sagna and clichy, large improvement this season from clichy, sagna was awesome today defensively and attacking, after lahm, ramos, maicon, sagna is up there
Hmm no GK is not a very good thing
Just watching arsenal again on MOTD, really pleased with the result today
Shearer: I dont know why i heard it but someone said if you give him [Walcott] time on the ball he wont deliver a final product
Hansen: You didnt hear it from me
oh whatever nobhead.
“Mark Schwarzer has made it clear that he would like to go to Arsenal so we are trying to look at other options,” Hughes said following his side’s 2-2 draw at Blackpool on Saturday.
could it be?
