As usual, it’s as live as we can get it, without actually streaming the content – you may pick up a stream or two if someone (ahem) decides to comment on it below. Today’s game is our second televised game of our Austrian tour and the final game before the weekend’s Emirates Cup. We do take on Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow, but that’s mostly for the kids / reserves. When I say mostly… I mean entirely…
SC Neusiedl v Arsenal
So the team line up is as follows:
Almunia
Nordtveit – Djourou – Koscielny – Gibbs
Wilshere – Rosicky – Frimpong
Walcott – JET – Arshavin
Over to the comments……
Follow World of Arsenal on Twitter.

Rumours is that Rosicky just got injured and Nasri is going to start instead…
All cameras on Almunia today!
Almunia
Nordtveit – Djourou – Koscielny – Gibbs
Frimpong
Walcott – Nasri – Wilshere – Arshavin
JET
That was an excellent run from Wilshere, pushed over in the area…
Nasri and Wilshere dribble so well.
block6gooner
Wilshere Nasri partnership working well
SC Neusiedl make a change already – number 9 off
Subs: Fabianski, Mannone, Sagna, Vermaelen, Clichy, Diaby, Song, Eboue, Vela, Chamakh

I take it we are trying not to score… Arshavin, Wilshere and Walcott all could have scored…
1-0 Theo scores
Walcott makes it 1-0 after a great run from JET and good linking play from everyone!
Johan Djourou OFF and Thomas Vermaelen ON – Some sort of injury…
2-0 JET scores
Lovely strike from JET
Arsenal score again – Jay Emmanuel-Thomas with a good finish… 2-0
just tuned in as veramelen came on was djourous injury serious?
jet just scored and i think he has a serious chance of playing many games this season. i dunno if hel make the 25 man squad for the first 5months of the prem
thanks guys on way home from work appreciating the updates..
If Djourou is actually injured, we’ll start with Koscielny and Vermaelen at the heart – back up? Nordtveit & Song? Need more centre backs. At least one more!
Frimpong is doing well – he didn’t react quick enough on the last attack, but I think he realised that.
JET is a monster of a player. He is absolutely huge. He needs to play this season!
hope he does well @ Emirates cup. and that Djourou isn’t serious.. we need him.
HT: SC Neusiedl 0 – 2 Arsenal – (Walcott 28, Emmanuel-Thomas 30)
Dev, you going to the Emirates Cup mate?
Second Hald under way – Chamakh’s hair looks exactly the same every time I see him – exact same spikes every time…
Chamakh fouled – penalty given…
Penalty to Arsenal, Chamakh taken down in area.
@ Pete:
Not this year – my cousin is getting married over that weekend up north!
Moroccan takes pen and scores. 3-0
3-0, Chamakh scores from the penalty spot…
4-0 Vela
You’ve got to love the way Carlos Vela seems to finish – nice right footed lobby type thing-a-majig… .Arsenal 4-0 up…..
Penalty to SC Neusiedl
Manone SAVES
I turn away from my machine for 2 mins and we concede a penalty – Mannone saves though…
JET back on for Wilshere
no its Jet and whilshire bk on
nasri and Kos off
Oops… sorry guys! It’s all so confusing!
Frimpong impressive
does anyone know the extent of djourou’s injury? doesnt look good….could force arsene’s hand into the transfer market…
@ Kodjo:
Not sure yet – trying to find out…
@ Dev
Thanks mate!!!
lol yeah im struggling too, but 11 goals and 0 conceeded in 3 pre-season games is gd from any aspect, especially considering the lack of world cup players, shows the strength in depth is there with just a cb and maybe a gk too add, i say maybe coz id give thte number 1 2 mannone and 2 to shez and f**k the other 2 off
FT: SC Neusiedl 0 – 4 Arsenal (Walcott 28, Emmanuel-Thomas 30, Chamakh 51 (pen), Vela 65) – Good run out…
need to know if djourou is okay, sol campbell going to newcastle is good, means wenger has to make a signing or two.
yeah after that possible injury scare id like 2 CBs if sol leaves wenegr will definitely sign ine, a new GK and monnone and schez as back ups as Flamez said, the other two can just leave
I hope our successful pre-season and the fact that we haven’t conceded one goal doesn’t delude Arsene into neglecting our defensive frailties. Even though Mannone has done okay for us (notably against Fulham last season), we still need an experienced and commanding GK that gives our defence confidence.
