I think Almunia will start tomorrow. That’s who I’d like to see and it’s my gut feeling too. Just heard Arsene talk about Adebayor’s comment about Cesc leaving Arsenal…not at all concerned about the comment but I liked how Wenger answered when asked, “Does it disappoint you that he [Adebayor] seems to keep bringing up these issues?” AW: “No, you’re only disappointed when you have expectation levels” LOL Go Arsene go! Derby 2morrow! Well excited! I see a victory for us. And I’d love to see our front 3 being Dudu, RvP and Arsh! Shame Rosicky is still out. We’re at home. Let’s give the Spuds a propper beating!!!

Quality game, both sides made it a very exciting match and am delighted for the youngsters especially to have held on to the lead and get a victory against a big club, albeit their second string team. Was pleased with a number of players. Our defending players did well, Senderos, Silvestre, and Gibbs especially. Eastman and Ramsey were a good pairing in the holding roles, though was surprised not to see Coquelan start. Our attack was good too, Merida’s goal was quality! But we wasted a few chances that could have been put away. Funny how the senior squad is great at going forward yet more vulnerable at the back, but last night we were more solid defencivly yet wasted a few goal scoring chances lol.

Good to see Nasri, Eduardo and Bendtner back, looking forward to having them involved in the first team again.

You got to feel for Fabianski, he suffered a thigh injury last night as is out for another 3 weeks. He did well last night.

Merida says he wants to stay at hte club and get a new contract sorted, to thats encouraging.

Overall, good stuff

Although it was a field of ‘youngsters’ I personally thought it was the strongest I have seen Arsenal play for a while! They played very well as a team which is surprising as obviously they are not playing week in, week out together..
