Here’s more info about the prize…

StayChilled bottle coolers are made from dive grade neoprene, exactly the same material that is used to manufacture diving wetsuits. This means they are an excellent insulator and will keep the contents of a bottle colder for longer. The colder the bottle to begin with the more effective the cooler will be.

StayChilled football bottle coolers are all about quality. Beautifully finished using the latest print techniques, they work as a cooler but are so much more. There are few better, or fun ways, to show just who you think is the best team in the world, come rain or shine!

AJ – I just realized I made the mistake of talking about a post in Arsenal-Mania’s FORUM, as an ARTICLE.

I don’t really follow their articles so much, I do follow the forum. And sometimes people paste articles from elsewhere onto there and then comment about it. That’s what I meant. So, forum, not article. Sorry.

I’m not sure they’re anti-Arsenal. I think they use a lot of sarcasm and criticism. But I just follow it for a different perspective, some knowledge, extra information etc. It’s all good.

On an unrelated note, was just wondering if anyone else was having trouble accessing ATVO? I just started getting this message this evening:

    Application Error
An error has occured while processing your request.

Thanks Fabrez! I was slightly worried, as I’ve been uninstalling some random stuff on my laptop and I thought I’d done something silly! lol
Hopefully they’ll sort it out in the morning… Cheers! :)

just read on goal that the melo/marchoni swap + 20 mil to juve/ firentina is hanging by a thread, on standby, according to the marchoni from juve’s agent cos he cant agree personal terms. This aint done and dusted, n we still in with a shout of gettin melo then. Lets hope that eboue aint a prick about his personal terms, and perhaps even senderos as well. And apperently, (mirror) close to signing blaise matuidi. does anyone know if he is a good player or not? 1 thing 4 sure- he aint experienced

    saw this:

Barcelona are willing to discuss a swap with Arsenal for skipper Cesc Fabregas.

The Daily Star says Barca have a budget of £50m, so they could make Arsenal an offer they can’t refuse.

One of Barca’s vice-presidents, Jaume Ferrer, said on radio: “The coach really wants to get on with one of his major midfield signings as quickly as possible.

“We are confident we can land someone that we want and everybody knows what players we are after. They have been constantly mentioned in the press.’’

If Arsenal are not interested in just a cash deal for their skipper, Barca are prepared to offer players in part-exchange.

One player they would offer up is holding midfielder Yaya Toure, who has been on Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s radar, and is the brother of Arsenal defender Kolo Toure.

  • Yemi

    and this:

Real Madrid are preparing a major offer for Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas.

The Independent says Real Madrid are set to exploit Arsenal’s financial woes by making an ambitious swoop for Fabregas.

The Spanish giants are keeping up their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso but if agreement cannot be reached with the Reds, Fabregas is high on their wish-list.

The Gunners will demand £40m for their Spanish star but Real Madrid are confident of negotiating a smaller fee.

  • Yemi

hope all are crao though. Cesc is not going anywhere (at least not this summer)

  • JDD

we should just tell them 50mil + iniesta & messi

i just heard we are closing in on matuidi for 2.5mil

  • Yemi

hope all are crap though. Cesc is not going anywhere (at least not this summer)

  • Yemi

JDD, not even 50m just 5m + etoo and messi

  • Yemi

  • Berth

Perverts all these Spanish teams – So in there mind they think they are smart; I hope we don’t sell them any bacteria, let alone a virus (LOL) perverts!!!

Arsenal have been handed a lifeline in their pursuit of Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo.
Juventus thought they had virtually sewn up a deal for the 26-year-old after a cash-plus-player bid met the value of the £21.5million release clause written into the new contract he signed just last week.
However, Marco Marchionni, Juve’s 28-year-old Italy right winger, has rejected terms and refused to go in the opposite direction.

The Turin club are expected to return with a cash-only bid but Sportsmail understands Melo will give Arsenal every opportunity to match the offer by refusing to cut his vacation short and rush through a transfer.
The Barclays Premier League club are likely to have until Friday to improve their offer of £5m plus Emmanuel Eboue and Philippe Senderos.
Combative midfielder Melo is relaxing in Rio de Janeiro after being part of Brazil’s Confederations Cup-winning team in South Africa last month.
Fiorentina are understood to prefer a deal with Arsenal because of a bitter rivalry with Juve that yesterday (Wednesday) saw fans protest at the possible sale of Melo to the Old Lady

Fabregas is the next Viera / Henry i.e. our biggest player who every close season gets linked with a big move then eventually ups and leaves.

It’s just a matter of time, I don’t think it will be this season but maybe next. He has us over a barrel, I mean he’s fantastic, his commitment has so far been great, but once his contract is over he’ll be gone for nothing. And in the papers he says as long as he’s in contract he’ll honour it (again Wenger setting this example) but then if he leaves at the end of the contract we lose the reported £40m in effect. I can’t see him signing another even if we win every trophy next season.

I think we should maybe (forgive me for saying this, it’s not easy) cash in. Take that swap deal get Yaya, go hell for leather for a player with a great passing range and a bit of steel, maybe melo if that boat hasn’t sailed. Have those two in the centre backed up with great squad players like song, diaby, denilson, ramsey. It would be similar to Viera and Petit.

  • Yemi

Els, i doubt if fabregas will leave if win win either the premiership or champions league buy i am almost certain he will leave sooner than later even if we win FA or carling cup. We need to win big for him to stay and we can only win big if we spend big. Not madrid style of big, but maybe as big as Liverpool or man u or probably chelsea(which i doubt)

  • Yemi

just saw this. Who is this guy ?:

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to rescue Ever Banega from Valencia.

Argentina’s Telam says Wenger is keen on the midfield schemer, who spent part of last season on-loan at Atletico Madrid.

Banega has never settled in Spain since his move to the Mestalla almost two years ago and would welcome the chance to kickstart his European career at the Emirates stadium.

  • JDD

banega is a good player he plays cm but hes 21 so if we get him he wont be put straight in the first team he’ll be one for the future

  • Yemi

Thanks JDD. So if banega is for the future, who is for the present?
    We really need a DM

  • manoo

i thought we were gonna make all our signings b4 july 6th, i.e. pre-season training. Does this mean we wont be signing anybody else, excep perhaps matuidi. Still think we got a shout of a melo deal if gazidis can make a 5.5mil + eboe n senderos offer quick

  • JDD

i would say matuidi aswell as banega is also one for the future.

i say they are ones for the future but they’ve got the ability to play in the premier league so if either of them made a good partnership with cesc then maybe they would be put into the first team straight away.

  • Gooner Get Ya

I suggested ever banega when Flamini left last summer. He is a quality DM but still young and no experience in the EPL so I feel a bargain coming. Lets hope we do buy someone wig a bit of experience though so cesc can just play his own style.
