New Away Kit Pictures Revealed…

quite confused as to what was happening…

But thanks to Stuart McFarlane, I’ve been given this:

blue

Which it means it’s now official… we can put to bed the silly green idea! But I’m not too sure if I’m a fan… what do you think?]]>

  • Debs

The pin-strips make it look a tad serious and almost too masculine- probably made from one of Arsene’s old suits! lol. But I guess it’ll grow on you. I like the colour though- it’s really cool! Nothing else stands out really. So in a nutshell, cool but boring- a break from last season’s, I guess!

  • devday

I’d prefer the long sleeve version and a bit more matt than cotton, but will need to see it in the shop!

  • Berth

    Boring

  • AJ

I think it’s alright, could be alot worse!

< ![CDATA[hmmm, not a fan of collars on football strips usually and this is no exception. it reminds me of the oooolllldddd home shirt we used to have that had "gunners" or "arsenal" (i forget which...i'll have to dig it out!i think it was the...95/96 shirt...i'm only 21 so not too sure!!) written in the old fashioned type set at the bottom at the back?? and Wrighty used to tuck the collar on the inside to make it look like just a round-neck..anyone remember that??
anyway..i prefer it to the yellow one, it reminds me of the old navy one, from the...04/05 season..i think?? but hey..i wont be buying it, never get the away ones, it's nice..nothing special, better than the green!!]]>

The white away shirt (chapman version) still is my favourite away shirt. I never like away shirt before chapman version and after chapman version

< ![CDATA[I don't like the folding collar. And that, with the stripes looks a bit formal, as Debs said.

But what really makes it look boring are the matching blue shorts. I'm not sure if that's part of the kit or whether Theo was just wearing one from his own wardrobe, but I sure hope the shorts are a different colour. Maybe white with a vertical maroon strip on it somewhere, minus the stripes on the shirt and minus the folding collar.]]>

  • Fabrez

I like it…blue is my fav colour after all! I don’t mind the pinstripes but the collar isn’t a favourite. But personally, I’d buy it! Wonder what the home kit will b like in terms of design? hmm Any1 kno when we’ll find out?

  • Fabrez

And agreed zohaib…white shorts of some sort would look better than just blue…but i get the feeling that what we see is what they r gonna b wearing! Cesc’s pic in this kit shows the shorts better…badge and number…so guess that’t it!

< ![CDATA[I like the collar. I like collars on my shirts.

The stripes and colour are a bit rubbish though, I guess it'll grow on me.

Picked up my 2nd yellow away shirt yesterday for £4 in Sports Direct. Man I love that shirt.]]>

  • debs

Yeah, I didn’t like this season’s away shirt at first, but now I want one. It’s weird how that happens!

  • debs

I think the goalie’s is quite hilarious! It’s on the Arsenal website now.

< ![CDATA[I like the GK top, it looks cool!

(As soon as it becomes available on you tube, I'll put up the video!)]]>

< ![CDATA[After looking at the picture gallery on the Arsenal site, I have to admit, it's already growing on me.

Isn't the goalie's kit similar to what it is now ? Or is it green at present. I've forgotten !

Anyhow, I think yellow looks okay.]]>

  • debs

I think it’s currently yellow- the away one. I think the difference is that the new one has got two different shades of yellow…

  • Pete

Certainly a smart loking away kit. But I don’t know, new kits tend to take a while to grow on me, but it’s not bad. The lads might be mistaken for 11 referee’s in that colour though lol

  • dan the footy fan :P

haha ive already preordered it even tohugh im not a fan of collars :P
