Man United vs Porto

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Barcelona vs Bayern

This is good news… I think we can get past Villareal…

But a very interesting semi final clash…

Man United or Porto vs Villareal or Arsenal

Barcelona or Bayern vs Liverpool or Chelsea

Arsenal will play Villarreal in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.

Arsène Wenger’s team were paired with the Spanish club when the draw for the last eight of this season’s competition took place at Uefa Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.

Arsenal beat Villarreal en route to the Final in 2006. Kolo Toure scored the only goal of the Semi-Final first leg at Highbury and Jens Lehmann saved a late penalty to secure a goalless draw in the second leg.

Villarreal now have Gunners legend Robert Pires in their ranks plus former Arsenal defender Pascal Cygan.

The first leg of this season’s Quarter-Final will take place at El Madrigal on April 7 or 8 with the return leg at Emirates Stadium on April 14 or 15.

If Arsenal advance to the last four of the Champions League they will face Manchester United or Porto.

    Just remembered that Villareal didn’t do a half bad job against Man U…they aren’t bad…didn’t concede. But i expect us to get the better of them…we r the better team on paper i’d think. Any1 actually going to the home-leg on the 15th? It’s tempting me!

    Exciting stuff, the draw was always gonna throw up some good games with so many good teams, but seeing it written down just has my imagination going.
