Arsenal vs Blackburn Match Preview

Team news ahead of the game sees another injury to Eduardo who unfortunately suffered a groin injury in the game dubbed "120 minutes of misery and 15 penalties"... Myself plus you guys all thought Edurdo would be the first to put his goal away. Arsene commenting on Eduardo's injury affecting his penalty:

“Unfortunately we have lost Eduardo with a groin problem. He got it in the first half of extra time and I wonder if that stopped him from taking his penalty that well. It shows you that no matter what you do in training when you go to the uncontrolled movements of top, top level competition your body needs time to adjust. It is only a short-term injury but he is out for Saturday.”

One player who will be back is Andrei Arshavin, and his cameos so far this season have been good, solid and inspiring. He’s had a few games under his belt as well as some rest and I expect him to start tomorrow and make an impact. Odds on Arshavin scoring tomorrow?

My line up at the moment would be:

Almunia

Sagna – Toure – Gallas – Clichy

Walcott – Song – Denilson – Arshavin

Bendtner – Van Persie

With Fabianski, Djourou, Gibbs, Eboue, Ramsey, Diaby, Nasri and Vela

News is that Silvestre is back in training and could be a player we could see against Hull in the FA cup on Tuesday.

Here’s some fighting talk from Theo Walcott who talks about the vibe in the camp.

“If we had lost, there would have been a lot of players down, but now everyone is buzzing. Hopefully this result will show everyone we are a great unit and we will see where it takes us. The dressing room after the game was like we had just won the World Cup final. The atmosphere is brilliant. Even though there are all sorts of nationalities in there, we all get along and we are like a family. We have got a lot of players coming back towards the end of the season. We seem to have had our bad spell. Now hopefully we can have a good spell and push for those Champions League spots.”

And finally, I hope the Arsenal fans who were out there have got back safely back to the UK. I understand that a fan was stabbed and I hope the fan is okay. This type of behaviour is uncalled for – something Roma / Lazio have become famous for and the club should be fined. The Champions League should be moved. It’s ridiculous.]]>

< ![CDATA[Blackburn...good side on their day so we'll need to take our chances, that's for certain. Personally, i'd have the same formation but i'd like to see Ramsey play for Denilson...young Ramsey would play well with the home crowd behind us i think...not that Denilson has been bad but i just have a good feeling about playing Ramsey on Saturday... And i think Eboue would start before Theo & we'll see Theo a bit later on.

Hope Arsene's press-conference reveals nothing to do with more injuries and more about how Cesc, Tomas &...ok... Ade... are making fine progress with coming back from injury. Shame for Edu...but hopefully the nigling injuries he picks up will be less frequent as he plays more. In an ideal world, non-existant would be better than less frequent!

I'd love for Villa to drop points versus Sp*rs...all 3 points at it...then Sp*rs may go back to losing ways after that game! I'm really glad the spirit is up in the camp & Arshavin can start to pull strings again & help make us look dangerous coming forward. We lacked that a bit in Rome. I feel as if Saturday can b his day for his 1st gunners goal! And shame about that stabbing...i genuinly hope that fan is doing much better now. At least it wasn't a killing but totally unacceptable either way. And i get the impression that the final will stay in the Eternal City...]]>

  • Debs

< ![CDATA[Gosh we've got to root for Sp*rs once more this season. What's the world turning into?! lol
Is it just me, or has it been so easy to forget about Ade since his injury? I just hope he makes a positive impact on his return. Maybe he's got the Drogba sulk-symdrome. Drogba's back in good form now, so hopefully Ade'll follow suit.

UEFA's said the final'll remain at the Stadio Olympico. This time around, it'd be UEFA, not Roma that'll be in charge of security, so maybe security will be better. Italian fans'll have no real interest in the match, so it'll be a 'neutral' venue, thus the threat of fan stupidity will be reduced, but still though, the behaviour of their fans towards ours was totally unacceptable and they should not be rewarded with having the final at their stadium, cos who knows, someone else's nuts and bolts might turn loose and do something stupid! But then though, I wonder what other stadiums UEFA have/had as back-up, seeing as they said before that they'd not let Roma host the final if there was any fan misbehaviour? Either ways, I just hope that wherever the final ends up being hosted, that there's no violence whatsoever, neutral venue or not.

As to game 2moro, Blackburn are up to 15th or so in the league, and although they're still in the relegation dog-fight, I guess they might be breathing a little bit easier, but they're not an easy team, especially under Big Sam. I'm a bit worried that we might have a bit of Champions league hangover, but hopefully, the possibility of being fourth for at least Saturday night will be motivation enough for the team to want to pull of a win, and the adrenaline will still be pumping from Roma. Mr Arshavin will definitely be key, and the fact that he's rested will probably be an important factor. Hope the boys can keep the momentum going though. I trust they can! :)

I'd like to see Ramsey play also, cos it feels like he hasn't played in a long time! But I'm slightly worried that Blackburn might be too physical a team for him, but he should be able to hold his own though. Still not fully used to the idea of having options, and it's about to get better (worse)! :P]]>

  • Debs

I’d also want Walcott as a super-sub too. He does more play time, so he should definitely get to play for quite a bit probably in the second half. He’s also been talking about wanting to get ‘clattered’- what better team than Blackburn for the job? lol

  • AJ

Yeah I hope the fan is ok too, it’s a disgrace that they even thought of putting it in such a volatile place, but what can you do. As for Blackburn, Arshavin will start no doubt, I think Walcott may even begin and as Debs said it would be nice to see Ramsey play, he hasn’t had a alot of time on the pitch recently, having a small cameo in the burnley game, but before that I can’t remember when he last played (maybe I just have bad memory). As for the win in Roma, hopefully this will kickstart the team and with players coming back from injury we’ll only pick up the pace.

  • http://wedontknowfootball.com/ williamhill

no nasri in your line up, i thought he was one of the better players midweek.

  • Gooner Get Ya

< ![CDATA[Listerning to talk sport on the way home yesterday the fan that was allegidly stabbed (or could have been broken glass) refused to go to the hospital and went to the game so it couldn't have been that bad. I am not saying it's right don't get me wrong, but i think the incident has been blown out of proportion.

They also said one arsenal fan was caught with a hammer trying to get in the ground? That guy should be ashamed to call himself a gooner.

Back to blackburn....I think we should go in to the game with oodles of confidence but Blackburn will probably park the bus infront of their goal so lets hope we are creative enough to break them down.

We need a early goal to get Blackburn to commit some players forward.]]>

  • Pete

< ![CDATA[I know it wont happen but seeing as we have quite a few wingers back now, what I'd like to see is Arshavin in whats normally Fabregas' position, partnered with Song. That way we have two fresh central midfielders, and maybe Djourou coming in for Gallas/Toure. Although the players are buzzing after Tuesdays game, they must be knackered. Hopefully having Blackburn play away to Fulham on Wednesday will have tired them out a bit too, and two away games in a row has an effect. I believe Santa Cruz was rested for that game though, and he's a handful. Also, shame about Edu's injury. It's be good for him to get two games in a row. But by the sounds of it Arsene hasn't ruled him out of the FA Cup game against Hull, so hopefully he'll be back for that. He's become our FA Cup hero in our last few games :)

    Anyway, back to tomorrows game.

    Team I'd like to see:
    Almunia

    Sagna Toure Djourou Clichy

    Walcott Arshavin Song Nasri
    Bendtner RvP

    Team we'll probably see:

    Almunia

    Sagna Gallas Toure Clicky

    Eboue Denilson Song Arshavin

    Bendtner RvP

    Good luck to the lads!]]>

  • devday

< ![CDATA[A game like this is perfect for Walcott to get some playing time. Arshavin of course has to play and with Song not playing midweek and Diaby being so woeful, that's why I think Song and Denilson will be in the middle.

Nasri didn't look very productive midweek - he looks like he needs a rest or a diet.]]>

  • Fabrez

Apparantly Santa Cruz is injured so that will make life easier for us.

  • Fabrez

Just read something really interesting on Arshavin’s website. He wants to play until he’s 35…wonder if he’ll spend his nxt 7 yrs at The Arsenal? I doubt it…

  • debs

why not Fabrez? I know Wenger doesn’t like ‘old’ people, but if we give this crop of players, he may still be there….

  • Fabrez

I’d love him to stay. I think he can be an Arsenal legend! But sometimes i get bad vibes about sides like Barca wanting to get him…and him wanting to go sides like that as well. Just hope he settles well with us and never wants to leave! :D

  • AJ

I like what Pete said about Arshavin and Song in midfield, that would be a good pairing.

  • Yemi

    hope for the best !!!

  • debs

I’d love for him to stay too. Like you said, he could be an Arsenal legend. Hopefully, he’ll realise that he probably can achieve more with us, than Barca, (well, that’s what we hope anyways!), if we, as a team, all still together. But admittedly, the possibility of going to a huge club like Barca will always be a huge pull- let’s just the club makes him feel as if it’d never get better than us.

  • zohaib

What’s all this about Nasri’s ass being competition for Vida Guerra ?!

  • Fabrez

lol Zohaib! I really haven’t noticed Nasri getting fat but I’ll scrutinize him next oppurtunity i get. I do think Rosicky has put on some weight…a bit understandable i guess. Has any1 else picked up on this Nasri thing?

  • debs

Haha! I haven’t noticed anything either, except his new dodgy hair colour. I’ll keep my eye open 2moro!

  • CON-MAN

yh gallas played 90mins vs burnely and 120 vs roma, gaffer shud give him a break and let tall djouroru get a run out

  • CON-MAN

< ![CDATA[just been on arsenal.com, arsene said eduardos injury should be a '3 or 4 day job'

so back for hull i assume, but 2 b honest id rather not risk him, id prefer walcott or arshavin, help em both get full fitness]]>

  • Debs

< ![CDATA[Glad Eduardo's injury is only going to keep him out for a few days. As for Hull, Arshavin's like 99% guaranteed to start, in my opinion, if not even 100%, (barring injury, ofcourse) and there's also a strong case for Walcott starting, seeing as they're both trying to build up match fitness. But like Pete said, Eduardo's sort of become our FA cup 'hero' :) , so I'd expect him to play some part, definitely.

I had a question to ask earlier on but I couldn't remember it, but I do now!
If we end up winning the Champions League (ofcourse it can happen! :D ) and Villa end up 4th, we obviously qualify automatically, but does that mean that Villa lose out? They'd be mighty peeved if after going through all the trouble, they end up missing out cos we win! lol
But I'm not really sure what the position is. I'm sure someone's mentioned it here before but I can't for the life of me remember, so can someone please clarify? Cheers!]]>

  • Fabrez

Well of course there was the drame of Everton & Liverpool a few years ago…2005-06 when Liverpool won yet stayed outside the top 4. They lost that 4th spot to Everton yet both were allowed in the CL. Now they have ensured there is a rule if that were to happen again where the CL winners will qualify and the 4th placed team will not qualify. The 4th placed team will go into the Uefa (Europa) Cup instead.

  • Fabrez

*Well of course there was the drama…

  • Debs

Thanks for the info, mate! That would be hilarious if it did happen though.

  • Fabrez

lol…i’d have a big old laugh at Villa i would! I’d love it to happen! Ok…maybe i’d actually secure a 4th place finish & win the CL instead….but that is just unfortunate of any side that fights for 4th!

  • Fabrez

And no probs bout the info debs! :)

  • Fabrez

Just thinking about that senario…the final would be more nerve-wracking for fans & players alike…so so much would be on the line in a single match! I think i’d faint if we were in that situation and the final went to penalties! lol

  • Debs

    :)

  • Debs

True you know, seeing as the CL final is not until after 4th place’s been decided in the league. That’ll be too crazy! But hey, our boys have done it once before, the penalties thingy, so once more wouldn’t be a problem! (Yeah right! lol) I’d probably cry if it happened though- the nerves would be wayyy too much to handle! Cos if we lose, we’d be stuck playing in the Europa League, just because of some lousy penalties! Wouldn’t be a funny position to be in- would rather we secured 4th spot already to ease the pressure on the boys.

  • zohaib

< ![CDATA[Ok folks. My team for tomorrow is :

    ---------------------Almunia-----------------------
    Sagna-------Toure------Djourou------Clichy
    Walcott------Nasri------Diaby------Arshavin
    -------------Bendtner------Vela-----------------

Oooooh sweeeeeeettttttt. I've got myself excited.

Ok that doesn't sound right. But you know what I mean.]]>

  • zohaib

That’s quality ooozing all over the pitch. I obviously dont think that’s the team we’ll see tomorrow. But I do believe this team gives us more of a chance to score a goal, although it probably leaves us a bit more open to conceding a goal, but I’d rather choose this option. That should have them come out of their half a bit. We just have to make sure they see a little bit of the ball, and fail with their attempts at making a move. Then we can exploit the space opened up. We already know that Blackburn will be looking to sit back and defend with 10 men behind the ball. So there’s little point playing 60 minutes with Denilson and Song and then introducing Nasri/Diaby to try and make something happen in 30 minutes. I’d rather have them on from the start and make a real match of it. We just have to be more resilient and have the ability to defend against an attack. Instead of being so nervous/brittle.

  • Pissed off

Zohaib I see you don’t belief in Song. He is way better than Diaby and Denilson in that position you think he might be dreadful.

  • Fabrez

< ![CDATA[Gosh...sorry about the multiple comments guys! Sometimes they don't seem to gothru when i submit and refresh so i try again...and this happens.

And i do get your point Zohaib...we should try 2 get under their skin from the 1st minute as opposed to waiting till late. Makes sense. I'd think Song's offensive game has got better but once Diaby has one of his good days, that midfield is pretty attacking...looks strong offensively...but got my doubts about Arsene going for that.]]>

  • zohaib

< ![CDATA[I don't think VanPersie will start. Even though he got quite a rest before the Roma game. I think it's too early to put him in a starting eleven. We may see Walcott and Eboue both start.

I think we're definitely going to see Bendtner, Arshavin, and possibly Song get a place in the starting line-up.]]>

Yeahh…2day was well satisfying! I’m well pleased! I was actually welcoming more goals. While we might be in a strong position to take 4th from Villa, u never know how important goal difference is…think we are about 6 ahead of Villa.

    Good good! :)

  • zohaib

Diouf, Kevin Nolan and Joey Barton are the worst footballers I’ve ever seen. They’re more like thugs than footballers and they don’t deserve to be playing football at all. It’s a disgrace to the beautiful game. Nobody in their right mind would make them a part of their Premier League teams, if they wanted football to be respected and stay the most amazing sport on the planet. There’s no excuse for what they do time and again, whatsoever. They way they deliberately try to injure players. Any of their horrid tackles could be career-ending. I am completely baffled how the English FA, the referees, the managers and the players can be so helpless to bring this kind of violence forward, to the relevant authorities to stamp it the hell out of the game. Absolutely shameful and mind-boggling. How many more players need to go through the trauma of a broken bone, the mental torture, the physical pain, and the long agonizing months out, for anybody to recognize which players are complete criminals in the footballing world ?! There are many people who realize it when they’re watching the game, so why is it that the people in charge are the only one’s who don’t realize it. Are they powerless, do they abuse their power, are they cowards, are they just blind or do they choose to ignore willfully ?! This needs to stop now !

  • zohaib

And that stupid f* c* should’ve been sent off instead of being given a meaningless yellow card. It was a clear studs up challenge and caught Almunia straight above the ankle and he could easily have broken it. The referee is also a fine fuck-up. Just as big a coward as Diouf, that little slimy greaseball sewer rat.

  • zohaib

< ![CDATA[I wonder if anybody's seen the video on YouTube, of a prank call to Diouf. The prank-caller basically starts winding Diouf up and telling him he's useless to which Diouf starts cursing wildly and telling the caller that he'll f* his whole family, including his mom, dad, 2 year old sister and others !!!

I don't know the authenticity of it but if it's true, it just goes to show what an unbelievable thug he really is, to any of those who still think he's a footballer who just 'misunderstood'.

    Misunderstood my foot.]]>

  • zohaib

Only because it was Arsenal who the tackle was made on, was it a miserly yellow. If it was Manutd being on the receiving end, the referee would’ve shown two red cards if he had them ! F* double standards.

I really have to commend Arshavin. From Wengers post match comment, Arshavin had a cut which was stitched before the start of the second half. That probably tells why he went to hug one of the medical staffs. Its a sign of commitment for me. Were it Ade he would probably had given up. And what is wrong with Bedtner; if he cant play he should please leave and stop occupying peoples space. He was really messing things up.

  • debs

yeah, Arshavin’s gone up in my estimation (not really sure if that’s the word I’m looking for!) a million times, hearing that. apparently his foot’s cut ‘completely on the outside’ and had to have 4 stitches. It’s amazing that he decided to continue, and I think it was the same foot he used to score. That’s definitely commitment, and he got rewarded with an aazing goal. He’s such a star, the little Russian, and I just hope Ade’s watching and learning! He’s no doubt going to be a key force for the rest of the season, and hopefully he’ll stay fit!

  • Fabrez

Look out for the tackle later debs…it was absolutely disgraceful…u will see why Zohaib is as angry as he is. That could have been the end of Almunia. I wish they would implement a rule for when a player that commits a reckless tackle, and puts another player out of the game for weeks/months/yrs, the offender should also be banned from football for the same time…both club & international as well. Hopefully this will curb the unintelligent tackles. And how did u find Arshavin’s website debs? Lots of broken english but a whole lot easier to understand than russian! lol

  • Fabrez

I really rate Arshavin’s commitment tho… That’s determination! I love how he’s fitting in at Arsenal…he’s definitely gonna find it easy to b a fans’ favourite!

< ![CDATA[4-0 to the Arsenal! 4-0 to the Arsenal!!!! :D

Phew. What a day. Got to see United get beat at Old Trafford and Arsenal get a blinding result at the Emirates!!!! :D I love being a Gunner!!!!!!!!!! :D

Arshavin was the stand out player for us today, pure class. And am REALLY happy for Emanu Eboure. Loved his goal celebration dancing, haha!!! :D Arshavin seems to have hepled bring out the best in him today.

The result is fantastic, couldn't be happier. On the whole though, the lads who played on Wednesday night looked a little tired. Bendtner's finishing was atrocious, but his link-up play was fairly solid, he helped create Arshavins first goal. Was glad he got applauded when he came off, instead of a repeat of the Eboue episode earlier this season.

Nasri did well too for someone who played 120mins and took a penalty in Rome earlier this week. Very unlucky that his shot hit the crossbar.

Glad to see Theo start a game, though he did look like he is
still in the process of getting back to his usual self.

And as for Diouff, is it any wonder he cant seem to flourish in any way other than Big Sam's dirty tactics.

Hopefully we'll not have picked up any injuries from this game and we'll punish Hull on Tuesday!

Got a sneaky feeling that Villa might win tomorrows game against Sp*rs, but we cant let that affect us, lets keep the pressure on them. If they loose we'll stay 4th, if they win then they beat Sp*rs. So its a win-win either way lol.

On, and the United-Liverpool game was quality. Make sure you see the highlights if you haven't seen it already :)]]>

< ![CDATA[I've not proper been on his website yet cos I'm not home right now, but I'm definitely going check it out over the next few days, maybe tonight even! lol

And I thought Arshavin was already a fan fav! lol. but yeah, he's a true legend in the making.

I'm angry already just thinking about the tackle without even seeing it! Not totally looking forward to seeing it, but I guess I've got to, to undertand everyone's disgust with it.]]>

  • zohaib

It’s not that gruesome Debs. You won’t feel your knees weakening under you, hopefully. Sorry for giving you all the negative ideas, lol. But thankfully Almunia lifted his leg off in time and the slide was a half-hearted slide, otherwise it could’ve been worse. But the whole point is that these half-hearted tackles also need to be controlled/cancelled out because at the pace at which the game is played, even these half-hearted tackles can be dangerous. And this was the Emirates pitch. What if it had been the Reebok Stadium or some other crappy soggy muggy rugby pitch.

  • debs

oh alright then. But I don’t take kindly to my boys getting horror-tackled so I’m probably going to be madder than necessary! lol

  • debs

< ![CDATA[that was nasty man. kept me speechless for a few minutes! but Almunia's ok, so I'll try not to dwell on it too much!

Apart from that aside, this was one performance that made me smile practically all through! 'Specially Arshavin's, and Eboue's absolute joy at scoring 2 goals! Good times are back!

just saw another replay of the challenge and I'm not smiling again!]]>

  • Fabrez

Hmm…wasn’t very nice…..and Morten Gamst Pedersen…what a cheat he is! That is just sad…that dive is officially the worst i’ve ever seen!

  • Fabrez

But Arshavin was on fire with stiches in! His speed is amazing and Bendtner ought to learn from him in terms of finishing!

  • Debs

Pedersen should have been booked. That was absolutely disgraceful! I actually like him, but that was pathetic, really.

  • Debs

Yeah, Wenger should pair both of them up in training or something!

  • debs

looking at the bottom of the table, Sp*rs do really need the 3 points. hopefully they actually turn up 2moro!

  • Fabrez

    Hopefully!

  • zaheer

    ZOMFG Arshavin!

    < ![CDATA[SP*RS scored 2 against villa.

so can i please be the first to shout..

    HELLOOOOO 4TH PLACEEEE.... :))

for once, SP*RS is not shit. but then again, now that they've beaten villa, they can get relegated for all i care.
    :)

    GOO GUNNNERRRSSSS!! Huat ahhhhhhh!!]]>

  • debs

right. I’ve got another question. If Man City win the UEFA cup, I know they qualify for the Champions League automatically. Does that mean whichever team ends up 4th in the Premier League loses out?

  • debs

lol unspoken. I’ll wait until the end of the match before I celebrate. Anything can happen!

  • Pete

Hmmm, Villas next three games are against Liverpool, Man United and Everton :D :D :D :D :D

    < ![CDATA[debs.

if that rule is true then seriously... i'm going to be be heartbroken for the whole of next season..]]>

  • Debs

lol. But see what I mean, it’s 2-1 now!

    < ![CDATA[HOOOOOOOOOORAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

i was scared there for a moment!

    HELLOI 4TH PLACEEEE!!]]>

  • Debs

Woo! Now I can say 4th spot here we come! :)

  • unspoken

< ![CDATA[thank you SP*RS.. now u can get relegated, for all we care..

anyway. any news about the uefa cup thing?]]>

  • Pete

< ![CDATA[The best outcome that Sp*rs could hope for ends up doing us a huge favour! :D

Hey Deb, to make things even more confusing, what if Man City win the UEFA Cup and we win the Champions League whilst coming 4th in the Prem? Now that would be a conundrum lol

Overall this weekends results have gone pretty well for us. Its good to be in the top 4 again, lets make sure we stay there! :D]]>

  • Debs

< ![CDATA[Yeah, I hope we stay there! But I'm fairly sure we'll stay put, although I feel ever so slightly sorry for Villa, but oh well, stuff happens!
From now I'm just going to start rooting for Man City's opposition. Don't want to take any chances! lol]]>

  • Fabrez

Ok…that question is a tough one Debs! It doesn’t seem as if that has ever happened before…i think it will be one of those things that they will come up with a rule for when it actually happens! And we shud never say “thank u Sp*rs for winning”… it’s more like “thank u Villa for sliping-up!” :) Very good weekend! The fact that Man U lost means that Liverpool/Chelsea are closer to them so they’ll want to absolutely win against Villa since the title isn’t quite their own as yet! Nice! :D

  • Fabrez

Hopefully, by the time we play Man U and Chelsea in May, the title would decided…mite just be easier games for us than for Villa at that point. Villa play Liverpool nxt week at Anfield then Man U at Old Trafford after the international break on the 5th of April. That’s too much for Villa…those to sides are going to have fire in their bellies…and Man U still have to get over that embarassing 4-1 at home…so they will definitely b up for it with that extra incentive. In the meantime, we need to continue doing our part….winning…rotating a bit…and hoping nobody gets injured again! Bit worried about the international break but things will b fine touch wood! C’mon Gunners!

  • zohaib

< ![CDATA[I just noticed something, looking at the fixtures section on the Arsenal site. We haven't lost a game in the Premier League since the ManCity away game. It would also be true in a sense, to say we haven't lost a game in any competition since then, because we've only lost twice in the Champions League since that game and both times it was meaningless. First to Porto in the group stages, when we had already qualified. And more recently to Roma, where it could be argued we lost during the 90 minutes but overall won the tie and qualified.

We got too many draws, but on the bright side, at least we didn't loose those games. Thankfully.

Now we have to try to thrash Mancity at the Emirates. Teach them a lesson.

It's absolutely SOOPER that Aston Villa lost to Spurs today. We're back in the top four ! Now we gotta stay there !

We have to make sure we get through to the quareterfinals of the FA Cup against. Beat Hull convincingly. No more hiccups please. No more inconsistency. Then go on and make sure we play well and beat Newcastle away. Then Mancity and so on.]]>

  • zohaib

quarterfinals* (no wonder the dictionary was after my life to correct it)

  • Debs

< ![CDATA[Man city are pretty crap away from home, and seeing as we've got revenge on our minds, I think we should win that. Newcastle are struggling really badly down there and will be desperate for 3points, but I don't see us dropping points there either. Assuming all goes to plan, Villa should drop points against Chelsea and Man U, so we've got the perfect chance to create some distance between us 2- we can do that, can't we? I'm sure we can. Getting a few of the injured players back should give us a big boost, so I'm pretty confident at the moment. It can't get any better at the moment, can it?

And yes Zohaib, we're technically unbeaten since Man City! Now let's start winning games!]]>
