A good performance by Arsenal yesterday, in the second half anyway.

I do think we need to look at our defence a bit though. I know Gallas and Sagna were missing but then why not play Eboue at right back and Song/Silvestre alongside Toure?

It was much better that way in the second half when Walcott came on and before we signed Sagna, Eboue played every game at right back anyway.

I'd also like to see Bendtner given a chance alongside RVP as Ade is just not hitting form at the moment. Or even Vela? He had a great game in the Carling Cup and i'm sure against mid-table opposition he could do something similar. Both are young players who'd love a chance to show what they can do on the real stage, and I'm sure have more motivation than Adebayor at the moment.

Anyway, a good 3 points so we can't complain too much, lets just see it continue against Fenerbahce, West Ham and soon to be Championship opposition, Sp*rs!

I really don't understand what Arsenal need to do - even when they when against a top half team you're still doubtful? Doubtful of what?

The challenge this year is even tougher - Liverpool actually look like a decent bet for the challenge on their current form, and Chelsea are awesome. But we can't match either teams spending - its just not realistic. We're ahead of Manchester United in the league though and are in the top 4.

Not the perfect start but by no means dire!

Great result yesterday. Same ol' same ol' really. Ade is gonna have to change something in his head because he doesn't seem to care right now. I think he has to be dropped. We have talented players wanting a chance. Its now or never really. He can't keep on giving Ade the oppertunity to make up for crap displays.

Wuhey for Stoke City. I'm gonna enjoy going to work tomorrow. Mwahaha :D

I have to say it is strange to see such subdued performances from Ade. He's seemed to have lost focus on the game. He seems to be off-side so much and he's got such a bad touch. He does put in a shift, I really wonder what Arsene is thinking long term...

Well then - Ade still squandering chances and the back looking shakey, nothing much changes does it!

Arsenal did do something though - they won ugly. Only Walcotts goal was visually appealing but the rest all counted.

I think Song is clearly not a right back he kept getting pulled out of position leading to their goal and two or three scares. We looked better for having Eboue at right back, which I never thought I'd say! Everyone else played well though, and although he had a few mistakes, Denilson looked like he was under orders to stay defensive and it worked quite well allowing Cesc to go forwards...

Good result in all in, hopefully some of the commentors on here will give the "WARCHEST SPEND SPEND !±111!!11!! LOLZ" shit a rest for a few days.

Great performance to come back, but everton seemed to just fold in the second half. And I agree, Adebayor has seemed to do little this season other than squander goals, that 30million for him surely could of been put to good use in finding a better striker?

What a great second half. Our second half performance seemed so much more dynamic. We played well, looked dangerous and really deserved the victory!!
