Brazil were all over the place with Ronaldinho spearheading an attack with the lacklustre Jo, whom will be joining Man City very soon - a player who doesn't look like anything special. Lucas and Thiago Neves were sent off after a penalty conceded by Rafinha which Riquelme duly scored.
Messi was inspirational and at 21 has the whole world at his feet - this boy plays football on another dimension.
Yesterday, I also managed to see Obasi play for Nigeria. The boy is something special. He has more tricks that anyone I've seen recently but also has an end result to the tricks. Every step over shuffled a player and resulted in a pinpoint cross.
A comment from a fellow Arsenal fan, "die hard arsenal fan", said:
…is about a young Nigerian footballer at the olympics Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke ,he has Obasi on his shirt . We need to buy him now before his price rockets . He makes Cristiano Ronaldo look like a joke…
And I couldn’t agree more – hopefully Arsene stayed up late and was watching the game…
In more Arsenal related news, the Daily Mail today published an article today regarding an imminent capture of Mikael Silvestre. The article discussed the possibility of Arsene bringing the Frenchman to the Emirates in replacement of Senderos. I seriously doubt it would be in replacement for the Swiss player but may be true if we move Kolo to defensive midfield. Take a read.
Anyway, time to get to work… have a good day…!]]>
