Justin Hoyte has officially signed for Middlesborough after 14 years here in the capital with Arsenal.

Massive affection for young Hoyty, and I hope he does well for Middlesborough. He’s been a servant to the club through his youth and more recently his patience in breaking into the first team. He’s been sold for £3m and I understand a bit more based on appearances and a sell on fee. It’s unfortunate he didn’t make it here, but with Sagna ahead of him, it’s a tough task.

If Sagna were to get injured, I presume we’d look at Djourou, Toure and Eboue to move to right back with our plethora of central defenders available.
