Talking about a "yawn", that brings me swiftly to the current story "Ade-bye-yawn"... the story is so tiring and boring, it's ridiculous. Apparently, according to the Spanish papers, Barcelona are willing to offer 10 million euros and Samuel Eto'o to us - would you take it? I'm not sure I would, I'd rather have the cash. 45 million euros I would take. Eto'o does have a checkered past and his supposedly got an ego and a half. But then again, why should we worry so much about the random speculation, surely Arsene has it all under control... I'm in the frame of mind of let's just wait and see what happens...
In other news, Alex Song is going to the Olympics, and good for him. I know he will miss Arsenal time, but when we have a fully fit squad, his appearences would be limited. The national squad is a good way of the kid getting high level games under his belt. It's interesting to see who will fit in at defensive midfield as our options are now limited to Diaby or Denilson with Gilberto "apparently" off to Pathaniakos. Is Bischoff on his way or does Arsene have another player tucked away?
