Sunderland vs Arsenal Preview & The Future…

The final game this season sees us travel to Sunderland for a game against "Keano", the ex-caption of our arch rivals, Man U, don't forget. They tried really hard when they came to the Emirates, and a sluggish first half saw us quickly go 2-0 up, but the final score was 3-2 - doesn't that seem an age ago!!!

It should be an exciting game, I'm sure Sunderland are up for it and will do everything they can to beat us! I'd expect the team to be pretty much the same as last week. With Cesc out injured, VP out, of course Edaurdo, Flamini off and Hleb suspended, we'll probably see Randall come into the squad.

Arsene has talked about giving a few people a rest, so we may see Clichy & Gallas rested to the bench... most of the other players won't feature in the Euros, so I'd expect this line-up...

Fabianski
Goalkeeper

Toure
Right Back
Senderos
Centre Back
Song
Centre Back
Traore
Left Back

Eboue
Right Wing
Gilberto
Defensive Midfielder
Denilson
Attacking Midfielder
Walcott
Left Wing

  Adebayor
Striker
Bendtner
Support Striker

With Mannone, Randall, Djourou, Gibbs and Clichy on the bench.

I’d expect to see second half sub appearances from Gibbs & Randall too…!

I would love to see Traore again on the left wing, but if Gibbs is on the bench I think it’s more likely he will get a run out on the left.

It would be good to see Gibbs and Randall have some minutes on the pitch, come on Arsene, show us Wilshere too!
